Bangladesh celebrates T20 whitewash as they defeat England in a nail-biting finish

Bangladesh has achieved a remarkable victory against England in the third and final T20 match, winning the series with a score of 3-0. The match was held at Mirpur Sher Bengal, and Bangladesh's win is being called the "Banglawash of the English." It was a tight match, with England seeming to have the upper hand at one point while chasing 159 runs. However, Bangladesh turned the tables with their extraordinary bowling and eventually won the match by 16 runs in the last over.

The English team was cruising towards the target, scoring 100 runs for 1 wicket. But then, they lost 5 wickets for just 42 runs, and despite having 9 wickets in hand, they could only manage 47 runs in the last 48 balls. The Tigers' exceptional bowling restricted them to 142 runs for 6 wickets, with Taskin Ahmed, Mostafizur Rahman, and Hasan Mahmud taking crucial wickets.

The match also saw the debut of young left-arm spinner Tanveer Islam in the national team, who was given the responsibility of bowling the first over in England's run chase. Tanveer rewarded the captain's trust by trapping Phil Salt in the stumping trap on the third ball of the innings.

David Malan and Jos Buttler then took the pressure off the English team after losing wickets in the first over. But Mostafizur Rahman broke the 76-ball 95-run partnership in the 14th over by catching Malan off the wicketkeeper Lytton's catch. Another wicket fell in the next ball when English captain Jos Buttler was run out by Mehdi Hasan Miraj's direct throw. Taskin Ahmed then took two crucial wickets in the 17th over, bringing the game to Bangladesh.

Earlier, Bangladesh had scored 158 runs for 2 wickets in their innings, with Liton Das and Nazmul Hossain Shanto making a pair of 84 runs off 57 balls. Liton, who had a poor ODI series against England, redeemed himself by scoring his ninth T20 half-century, which was also his career best. However, the pair of Shakib Al Hasan and Shantar could not do much, adding only 19 runs off 18 balls.

Overall, it was an exciting match with Bangladesh winning the series with a whitewash mission. Bangladesh's victory is being hailed as a remarkable comeback story, especially given their disappointing batting gift in the last five overs. It is a moment of pride for Bangladesh cricket and its fans, and it is hoped that the team will continue to perform well in the future.
